On Feb. 10, Out Of Eden will not only release their fifth album, Love, Peace and Happiness, they will celebrate 10 years of making music together. The three-sister group delivers a mixture of R&B, hop-hop and pop melodies that blend well into a unified project.

“Soldiers” is one track that immediately jumps out, with a driving drumbeat and a repetitive hook. The track also offers some variety with an incredible harmony at the bridge. A great ballad, “Sincerely” thanks God for all He has done, even though we are unworthy.

Out Of Eden has enjoyed much mainstream exposure, sharing stages with Destiny’s Child and the Pointer Sisters. They have appeared on TV shows such as “Moesha,” and have had their songs featured on major motion picture soundtracks such as “Dr. Dolittle.” This fame, however, has not caused Lisa Kimmey and her sisters, Danielle Kimmey and Andrea Kimmey-Baca to change the focus of their music. “The message is always in our music,” says Lisa Kimmey.

Lisa Kimmey also took on the responsibility of producing all the songs on Love, Peace and Happiness. Working with producers such as Mooki Taylor and Kene “Ghost” Bell, Kimmey created a mix that can spin uninterrupted in your CD player for days.
